Denim Dog

This little blue dog is based on my beloved beagle, Buddy. Denim Dog is made from denim fabric scraps, scrap wire, plastic tubes and paint. The cut denim patchwork is sewed onto a metal cutout using 100 year old thread. The dog is a part of my animal series which features other animal cutouts that pop away from the background. The contrast between the blue and the orange help make this little buddy stand out.

Denim scraps, plastic tubing, antique orange thread and wire scraps.
