Ode to Oddity

For all the David Bowie fans! These four pieces are based on David Bowie’s song Space Oddity. Each canvas is my take on a lyric or set of lyrics from the song. Each canvas has its own Mini Bowie (Major Tom), and tin can spaceship. The miniatures are made from donated clay and fabric scraps. They are in chronological order following David Bowie’s ever changing artistic persona throughout the years. The canvas’ were all found with holes/rips in them.
